Dave Coy

Next Steps Pastor
Dave grew up in a small town called Holmesville, NY. He attended Clarks Summit University and graduated with a degree in youth ministry. He served at Faith for 8 years as our associate pastor before going to Camp Bayouca to be the program director. In December 2018, God brought him back to Faith as our Next Steps Pastor.
Dave and Jeanne have been married since 2004. They have 2 boys who love going on adventures and relaxing at home as a family! Dave loves the Mets and is cautiously optimistic that they could be good again. He enjoys just about any sport and being outdoors.
Dave is passionate about leadership development and helping others take their next step. He is excited to see how God uses Faith to reach our community and the world with the hope of Jesus.

Josh Mowers

Family Ministries Pastor
Josh grew up in Capetown, South Africa where he served with his missionary parents, learning all about starting churches. Upon returning to the States he attended Clarks Summit University and graduated with a degree in youth ministry. He spent the last couple years serving in Preble, NY.
In 2016, he married Katy. Josiah made them a family of three in September 2017. Josh enjoys time with friends and family, playing games, and hiking.
Josh and Katy joined our team in August of 2016. 
Josh is passionate about mentoring and mobilizing students to reach their friends and families for Christ.

Matthew Smith

Lead Pastor
Matthew was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute, Clarks Summit University (B.S. in Bible), and Baptist Bible Seminary (M.Div.).
In 1992, he married Cathy, and God blessed them with three sons. Matthew enjoys the outdoors: hiking, hunting, and riding horses.
Matthew became Lead Pastor of Faith in 1999. He also serves the community as police chaplain for both Cortland County Sheriff’s Department and Cortland City Police Department.
Matthew’s passion is to positively impact our community for Christ lead Faith in the process of making more and becoming better followers of Jesus Christ.
